Tamika began her academic journey at Florida A&M University, ultimately earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies & Communications from Florida Atlantic University. Driven by a desire to deepen her knowledge, she pursued and attained a Master of Science in International Real Estate from Florida International University in 2015. These academic credentials laid a strong foundation for her successful career in real estate. She also holds a Florida Real Estate Instructor license and owns the Robin Bird Real Estate Institute, a licensed Florida Real Estate School where she continues to educate and inspire future real estate professionals.

A CCIM Candidate, Tamika is working toward one of the industry’s most prestigious commercial real estate designations. She also holds several National Association of Realtors (NAR) designations, including CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), AHWD (At Home With Diversity), RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert), and SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource). Inspired by her late mother, who had encouraged her to enter the real estate field in 2004, Tamika named her brokerage in her honor. She serves as the Local Board President and has been actively working to advance the interests of minority real estate professionals and property owners. Beyond her roles in these organizations, Tamika serves as a 2024 Florida State Director and Commercial Committee member with Florida Realtors, where she helps shape the policy and direction of the state’s real estate industry. On a national level, she is a 2024 NAR Commercial Committee member and a 2024 NAR Director, positions that allow her to influence the national real estate landscape and advocate for the interests of commercial real estate professionals across the country.
