“Marcus Boereau, was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He is a businessman, actor and singer who is fluent in 8 languages; owns a master’s degree in Economics from Shanghai University and specializes in property development.
While studying in Asia, Marcus, made his TV debut on Taiwans famous singing competition “Super Idol” and is first known for becoming the first non-Asian finalist in the show’s 15-year history. After living in Asia for 12 years he expanded his passion for acting and in 2017, he landed his first role in a western film titled “Kafou,” which was produced by Haitian filmmaker Bruno Mourral, he took on a supporting role in Mourral’s latest film “Kidnapping Inc.” which just premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
Marcus is the Founder & CEO of IMAR Business Group, a China-based company dedicated to advising and facilitating services for imports and exports in the Chinese market. He is also the Founder & CEO of IMAR Ventures, a company that facilitates foreign investments and creates business opportunities in real estate in the Caribbean, providing a Premium and personalized services for individuals and organizations.
Marcus has worked for more than 5 years in Haiti’s public administration as an Investment Facilitation Director and over the past years he has dedicated himself to helping hundreds of investors make key investments in the Dominican-Haitian real estate market making him a leader in this sector. Marcus was recently featured in FORBES Dominicana, Faces of Haiti etc..for his work and is currently developing TAMAN, a real estate project of a 144 apartments in Punta Cana.”
